Recently, the main venue for the 5th World Congress of Biosphere Reserves, located at the Tianmu Future Valley project in Hangzhou, has been fully completed and accepted. This venue, built by CSCEC, is also the largest dual-use public infrastructure that can accommodate emergency needs in East China.
The project is located near the Tianmu Mountain National Nature Reserve and is expected to attract over one million visitors annually, providing a new driving force for regional coordinated development.
The construction of the venue incorporates advanced smart and green technologies. Building Information Modeling (BIM) was used to optimize pipeline arrangements, and 3D laser scanning enabled virtual pre-assembly of steel structures to avoid conflicts. The project also integrates drone systems for material lifting, safety inspections, and more. Renewable energy solutions, including photovoltaic panels on the roof and photovoltaic tiles, along with air-source heat pump systems, help reduce energy consumption.
