On February 28, the topping out ceremony for the main structure of the C04 office building of the CBD project in New Administrative Capital built by CSCEC (Egypt) was held, marking the completion of the main structure of the office building with the largest volume and the highest height. Nearly 100 participants including representatives from CSCEC Egypt, Package 1 of the project, NUCA and DAR supervision company, and various teams of the project witnessed this important moment.

The CSCEC representative thanked the relevant partners for their trust and support, and all the Chinese and Egyptian employees for their hard work, and wished the ceremony a success. The Chinese and Egyptian employees have overcome the difficulties brought about by COVID-19 and worked in solidarity. Their spirit will be carried forward in the CBD project and enhance the team's confidence in facing more challenges and fulfilling the project contract. The Package 1 team will advance the construction progress, and ensure the smooth operation of the project with good performance.

The Egyptian guests expressed their congratulations on the successful topping out of the C04 office building, and fully affirmed the progress in Package 1 amid the difficulties brought about by COVID-19. They also hoped that CSCEC team will make concerted and persistent efforts to achieve a perfect contract fulfillment at an early date.

The C04 office building

The C04 office building, a 170-meter-tall building with a total construction area of 121,000 square meters, has 36 floors, including 2 floors underground and 34 floors above ground. The C04 office building started in December 2018, and its main structure construction began in May 2019.
