Strait Culture and Art Centre: The Strait Culture and Art Center, with a total construction area of 150,000 square meters, is constructed by CSCEC and designed by Finnish architect Pekka Salminen and CSCEC's chief architect. The project includes a multi-functional theater hall, an opera house, a concert hall, an art museum and a film center. It is shaped like a five-petaled jasmine flower, which is a "super project" combining cutting-edge design, the latest construction technology and green building concepts. As the venue for the opening ceremony of the 44th session of the World Heritage Committee, the project has won the Luban Prize, the Gold Award in the Cultural Venues category at the 2019 World Interiors News Awards, and the Silver Award in the Civic, Façade and Waterfront categories at the 2019 World Architecture News Awards.
