The electric vehicle (EV) industry is growing at full speed, yet charging remains a persistent challenge. Against this backdrop, CSCEC has introduced a mobile charging robot and built an unmanned charging demonstration station at Zhongshan Park, Shenzhen.

The robot integrates 3D structured light, a multispectral vision module, a six-axis collaborative robotic arm, AI visual correction and vehicle-to-grid interaction technologies. It features multi-modal perception, flexible control, path planning and automatic obstacle avoidance. The robot automates the complete charging workflow, covering vehicle recognition, positioning, plug insertion and charging, and adapts accurately to the vast majority of vehicles on the market.

Mounted above parking spaces, a single charging robot can cover multiple stalls. It moves flexibly through tight spaces and occupies no ground floor area, delivering superior operational stability and reliability.
