Recently, the unveiling ceremony of the China Book Center in Egypt and the Egypt-China Cultural Exchange Conference titled "Reading China: Cultural Elements in the Development of Modern Cities" was held at Badr University in Cairo, attracting 150-plus guests from China and Egypt.
At the event, representatives from CSCEC and Aly El-Hefny, Former Deputy Foreign Minister of Egypt and Egypt's Former Ambassador to China, jointly unveiled the publication of the Chinese-Arabic bilingual book Deep Friendship Quenches the Desert.
This book features 60 outstanding works by CSCEC's Egyptian employees, relevant partners, and friends, narrating their stories of friendship with Chinese friends in their daily work and life.
Young people from Egypt and China showcased stories of Egypt-China friendship through performances, speeches, and other activities.
