Recently, CSCEC officially started welding pipes for the water pipeline project in Laguna Province, the Philippines, marking the project's full entry into the installation phase.
Located on the eastern shore of Laguna de Bay in Manila, the project mainly involves the laying of a 14-kilometer pipeline. The total length of the welding seams for this welding operation is approximately 70,000 inches, and the project team has adopted a new welding technology to control welding errors within millimeters.
Once completed, this project will help improve the local medium- to long-term water supply system, addressing water scarcity issues for approximately 1.45 million people.
Since entering the Philippine market, CSCEC has also undertaken key projects such as the largest ice cream factory in Southeast Asia, the Aice ice cream factory, the Philippines' first LEED Gold-certified smart factory, the Sercomm's electronics factory project in Calamba City, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, the Vion Tower in Manila, and the Bayport West and other projects, all contributing to local socio-economic development.
