Recently, the truss bridge of the Novi Sad-Subotica section of the Budapest–Belgrade railway, constructed by CSCEC and other companies, has been successfully completed, marking the completion of the project's main structure and laying a solid foundation for the timely completion and opening of the entire section.
The Budapest–Belgrade railway project spans from Budapest, the capital of Hungary, to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, covering a total length of 341.7 kilometers. The truss bridge of the Novi Sad-Subotica section is the project's largest-span bridge.
Once the railway is operational, travel time between the capitals of Hungary and Serbia will be reduced from 8 hours to 3 hours, significantly improving transportation for residents along the route and promoting economic and social development.
