On 7th of December 2023, during the COP28, Mr. Wang Shaofeng, Chairman of CSCEC ME, and Mr. Tian Sanchuan, President of CSCEC ME, were invited to attend the Green Value Summit UAE hosted by Biosphere 3, launching CSCEC's Future Sustainable Cities Project and signing a MOU with DeepRock Group. Mr. Gu Shengzu, Vice Chairman of CPPCC, Mr. Zhang Yiming, China Ambassador to the UAE, H.E. Fahad Al Ahbabi, Senior Official of the Presidential Court, Mr. Wang Shi, Founder of Vanke Group and Biosphere 3, and Mr. Feng Nan, Co-Founder of Biosphere 3 and Chairman of DeepRock Group, witnessed the ceremony.

Ambassador Zhang Yiming delivered a welcome speech for the conference. He said that the UAE is an open country and Dubai is an innovative city. At a time when China-Arab relations have reached the best period in history, the UAE is vigorously promoting environmental governance and energy transformation, which provides development opportunities for enterprises all over the world.

In his speech, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC, Mr. Gu Shengzu, emphasized that the Chinese government's position on climate change is clear and firm and that enterprises play a crucial role in addressing climate change, and the most important thing is to act.

In his speech, H.E. Fahad Al Ahbabi emphasized the UAE's leadership in the field of sustainable policies. He rejoiced that it is a privilege to see distinguished individuals from across the globe gathered here today, which provides great inspiration.

In his keynote speech, Wang Shi encouraged entrepreneurs to actively participate in climate action, not only by investing their time and energy but also by making green equity investments and green asset investments to form a closed loop so that the economy and carbon reduction can develop in both directions.

Wang Shaofeng pointed out that China State Construction, as the world's largest construction company, always adheres to the concept of sustainable development, continuously improves its green construction capability, implements innovation-driven strategies, leads the development of green and low-carbon industry standards, and is committed to providing sustainable construction solutions. CSCEC ME will continue to promote the R&D investment of the latest technologies in the areas of green and low-carbon buildings, assembly buildings and intelligent construction. Also, CSCEC ME will actively contribute to the economy of the Middle East region.

Mr. Tian Sanchuan, President of CSCEC ME, and Mr. Zhang Tian, CEO of DeepRock Group, signed the MOU on behalf of the two parties, stating that CSCEC ME and DeepRock will work together as strategic partners in the future, and commit themselves to achieve new results in the field of low-carbon buildings and community development.

On the Summit, CSCEC ME officially launched the Future Sustainable City Project, conducted an ecological city planning study with Supernature Labs from the United States, and launched the Bio Planning city planning concept.
