Recently, the Presentation Ceremony of the Quality Building Award 2022 (QBA 2022) was held in Hong Kong. CSCEC won six awards, including the First Innovative Project Award.

North Lantau Hospital Hong Kong Infection Control Centre, designed and built by CSCEC, won the Innovative Project Award and the Grand Award for the Hong Kong Non-Residential (New Building - Government, Institution of Community) category.

The CUHK Medical Centre and the LOHAS & MONTARA, undertaken by CSCEC, received Merits and Finalists respectively in the Hong Kong Non-Residential category; Relocation of Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works to Caverns received Merits in the Temporary Building category; and Sol City received Finalists in the Hong Kong Residential (Multiple Buildings) category.

The biennial Quality Building Award, co-founded by nine of Hong Kong's leading professional institutions and bodies such as the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, the Hong Kong Construction Association, the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers, and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, has been the top benchmark of quality buildings in Hong Kong, aiming to recognize buildings that demonstrate outstanding quality and the exceptional teamwork behind the projects. It is also known as the "Oscars" in the building industry in Hong Kong because of its professional jury panel, strict evaluation standards, and diverse evaluation dimensions.
