CSCEC's business briefing of January 2023 was released. The total value of newly signed contracts reached 335.8 billion yuan, an increase of 12.4% over the same period of the last year.

In construction business, the value of newly signed contracts reached 317.1 billion yuan, an increase of 12.3% over the same period of the last year. Among them, the value of newly signed contracts for housing construction reached 247.1 billion yuan, an increase of 6.2% over the same period of the last year, the value of newly signed contracts for infrastructure reached 68.9 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 41.6%, and the value of newly signed contracts for survey & design services reached 1 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 3.8%. From the market perspective, the value of newly signed contracts for construction in China reached 315.6 billion yuan and the value of newly signed contracts for construction outside China reached 1.5 billion yuan.

In real estate business, the value of sales contracts reached 18.7 billion yuan with a year-on-year increase of 13.8% and sales area reached 890 thousand square meters with a year-on-year increase of 3.9%. The land bank at the end of the period totaled 87.88 million square meters with the newly acquired land reaching 370 thousand square meters.
