Administration Facilities–Sabah Al–Salem University City–Kuwait University Project is officially handed over and accepted by the Client recently.

The project is located in the heart of Kuwait University with abuilt-up area of approximately 310,000 square meters. Itconsists of six buildings, namely Central Administration Building, Convocation Hall, Library, Conference Center, Cultural Center and the Visitor Center. Thebuildings’ external is decorated with Mashrabiya aluminum panels and the classic Arabic character "bird" is selected as the basic pattern. All Mashrabiya aluminum plates are combined using the internal welding processand the total welding length is more than 540,000 meters, which not only reflects aesthetics in architecture but also plays an important role in energy saving and temperature control.

The Cultural Center and Visitor Center were delivered in March 2022, and the remaining four buildings were handed over in December 2022. Despite the impact of the pandemic, the project team still achieved the target within the contract period. With the quality implementation beyond the Client’s expectations, the project becomes one of the most outstanding projects in Kuwait University. The project was highly recognized by the Kuwaiti government, Client, Consultant and society, which built a solid foundation for future cooperation between CSCEC ME and the Client.
