The Bailang River Bridge in Weifang City wins the Best Tall Non-building 2022 Award
Recently, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) published the winner list of the Best Tall Non-building 2022 Award and the Geotechnical Engineering 2022 Award. CSCEC-built Bailang River Bridge in Weifang City won the Best Tall Non-building 2022 Award.
The main part of the Bailang River Bridge in Weifang City is a 190-meter-long double-layer truss bridge. A 145-meter-high Ferris wheel locates in the middle of the bridge and has obtained three global top titles including the largest centerless Ferris wheel, the first Ferris wheel in a shape of woven lattice, and the highest Ferris wheel among all the combinations of a bridge and a Ferris wheel.
On September 22, 2018, the Ferris wheel broke the Guinness World Record and won the title of the "tallest centerless observation (Ferris) wheel".
CTBUH is a worldwide leading organization focusing on tall buildings and the concept, design, construction and operation of future cities. Founded in 1969, this nonprofit organization is headquartered in Chicago. CTBUH announcesthe winners of its Award of Excellence every year to recognize the outstanding contributions to promoting the development of high-rise buildings and urban environments.
Shenzhen Longgang Wanda Plaza Garden Level wins the gold medal in landscape design category of the TITAN Property Awards issued by the International Awards Associate in the United States
CSCEC-built Shenzhen Longgang Wanda Plaza Garden Level became the gold winner in Landscape Design category of the TITAN Property Awards issued by the International Awards Associate (IAA) in the United States.
With the purpose to recognize the highest achievements in the property industry, the TITAN Property Awards program functions as one of global competitions held by IAA in the United States.
The Garden Level is a major component of the Shenzhen Longgang Wanda Plaza project. With the low-carbon concept, the CSCEC landscape design team takes advantage of the existing buildings through demolition and renovation so as to maintain the original structures, the decorative surface layer and its components to the biggest extent. In addition, the team integrates the traditional Chinese elements of "metal, wood, water, fire and earth" into energy-saving and colorful lights, environment-friendly decorative materials, and green area design, thuspresenting the residential, natural, fashionable, sports, and commercial functions of the garden level, and reinterpreting the commercial shared space. Moreover, the previously timeworn space comes back to life and becomes an outdoor parlor of the plaza.
CSCEC-built Central Mansion wins the DNA Paris Design Awards 2022
Recently, the winner list of the DNA Paris Design Awards 2022 was published and CSCEC-built Central Mansion in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province won the Honorable Mention in landscape design category.
DNA Paris Design Awards is set in Paris, France by Farmani Group, the organizer of International Design Awards (IDA). As a global and multiculturally inclusive event, it's aimed at commendingthe world's best design works in the fields of architecture, interior, landscape, product and graphic design.
With a gross floor area of about 93,000 square meters and a capacity building area of about 274,000 square meters, the Central Mansion project focuses on all-day-long intelligent detection and environmental indices including indoor and outdoor temperatures, humidity, and air quality so as to create a residential environment with constant temperature, humidity, and oxygen as well as low noise, to build a living community with green technologies, and to meet the high-quality living needs of people in Changzhou City.
