The project of the west section of the second cross line of Chongqing Highway built by CSCEC has made many world records during construction, and won one world-class award and six national-level awards.

Following the 10,000-ton rotation of five bridges at the same time, recently, the 10,000-ton Taohe Bridge No. 1 of the Yangquan City Ring Road Redesign project of National Highways 307 and 207 constructed by CSCEC, which has a total length of 52.144 kilometers, were successfully rotated into position.

After the completion, the project will have positive significance for improving the regional road network structure, facilitating road transportation capacity, promoting economic development and industrial structure adjustment along the route.

The No. 1 Taohe Bridge is 558 meters long and spans the Shijiazhuang-to-Taiyuan railway and Taohe River from north to south. It is an important project on the whole line. During Taohe Bridge's rotation, the swivel construction at the second and third spans is an important node project. The swivel part is designed with a steel box girder of T-shaped rigid frame, with a length of 200 meters and a total weight of 11,770 tons.

The height of the main pier for the rotation is 32.9 meters high, and the height of the bridge deck from the ground is about 50 meters. After the swivel steel box girder is assembled and welded on the ground and tested, it is lifted by four cranes on both sides at the same time, installed parallelly to the railway as a whole, and then rotated into position.
