The KTFT Project in Nepal is constructed by CSCEC. The contract was signed on May 14, 2021 and it started construction on June 14, 2021. The project team has overcome many difficulties and made all-out efforts to pursue an excellent performance of the project. At present, the project has started site leveling of concrete mixers and a construction camp. The camp is expected to be completed in late December.

The 4 lane expressway project is 4.345 km long. The project includes the construction of roadbed, road surface, bridges and tunnels , lighting and traffic safety facilities, etc. It is the largest EPC infrastructure project in Nepal in recent years, and it also has the longest road tunnel under construction. The project is expected to be completed in mid-December 2024. After completion, the project will further reduce pressure on Nepal's road traffic and ensure traffic safety of local residents.
