Built by CSCEC, the residential area of Beijing Winter Olympic Village was completed and delivered to Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG).

As an important non-competition venue in Beijing Winter Olympic Games, Beijing Winter Olympic Village consists of 20 residential buildings with a total construction area of 330,000 square meters, which is divided into two parts: residential area and operation area. During the games, the residential area will provide accommodation, catering, medical and other security services for athletes and team officials from all countries, and after the competition, it will soon be converted into public rental housing for talents in Beijing. CSCEC mainly constructed 18 intelligent subsystem projects in such areas as security, building automation, energy efficiency supervision, smart community cloud platform and computer room engineering of 11 residential buildings in the areas.

Adhering to the concept of green Olympics, Beijing Winter Olympic Village has introduced the "Healthy Building" WELL Building Standard in its design in which the energy saving rate of the whole building can reach 82%, and the annual carbon dioxide emission can be reduced by about 42.4 tons. Through energy saving at home, low-carbon community and green travel, CSCEC has created a low-carbon ecological, comfortable and livable community.
