Recently, the modular sanitation tool room, a new urban facility developed and designed by CSCEC, won the 2020-2021 Urban Street Design Category in the Italian A' Design Award, A world authoritative design competition, out of over 10,000 entries from 180 countries around the world.

A' Design Award is currently the largest and most comprehensive global design competition in the world, known as the Oscar in European design circles. It is an international competition recognized by ICOGRADA, the International Council of Graphic Design Associations, and BEDA, the Bureau of European Design Associations. It is also a member of ICSID (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design), ICOGRADA and ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale), and is organized to honor the best designers in all categories and creative fields from countries across the world.

The award-winning work of this modular sanitation tool room, by upgrading its functions and appearance, provides a more humane working environment for sanitation workers, more convenient services for citizens, and more beautiful spots for urban landscape, thus reshaping the image of sanitation functional rooms in people's minds. The rooms are built in the form of standard modules to meet the needs of different customers for different functions, and can be configured in accordance with actual sites and functional requirements. Each room is a complete unit, and each module is processed in the optimal size and proportion, which can either be used alone or matched with other facilities to adapt to various sanitation work in different conditions.
