Plaza Construction, a China Construction America (CCA) company, signed a pre-construction service agreement on May 22, 2020, for the Dania Pointe Waterfront project in Florida, promoting the company’s steady market development in special periods amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The eight-story apartment building is located in Dania Beach in southern Florida, with a rentable area of about 192,000 leasable square feet. Dania Beach is known for its beautiful environment with a Blue Wave certification from the Clean Beach Coalition. The project is close to both the city of Fort Lauderdale, which is known as the “Venice of America,” and the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Convenient transportation has made Dania Beach an ideal vacation spot in South Florida. After the project is completed, the apartment building will contain 281 residential units, as well as complete supporting facilities such as a fitness center, a swimming pool, a yoga room, a club, and garage space.

According to The Real Deal, Asi Cymbal, president and owner of the project developer Cymbal Development, the Dania Beach Waterfront Apartments project is adjacent to the 102-acre Dania Pointe development. There are not only sufficient shopping, dining, and entertaining choices in the surrounding area, but also luxury hotels and A-level office areas, making life and work very convenient. CES Design Group and IDDI are responsible for the design work.

CCA's projects and offices in the Florida area resumed work in May. The CCA Shared Service Center has worked alongside other companies to formulate an office work resumption guide, making detailed plans based on the characteristics of different regional offices to effectively protect the health and safety of employees. Under the premise of performing proper pandemic prevention and control measures, the company has been taking initiatives to expand market, while focusing on optimizing its internal management.
