Recently, the rehabilitation works on four Senegalese stadiums in Senegal, undertaken by CSCEC, successfully passed the second midterm inspection.
The project involves the renovation and upgrade of four stadiums: Leopold Sedar Senghor in Dakar, Aline Sitoe Diatta in Ziguinchor, Lamine Gueye in Kaolack and Ely Manel Fall in Diourbel. Among them, Leopold Sedar Senghor is currently the largest multi-functional stadium in Senegal. Following the renovations, it will become a fully equipped and professional venue and serve as the venue for Senegal to host the 2026 Youth Olympic Games. The project officially commenced on August 15, 2022, and is expected to be completed by March 2025.
