CSCEC Wins the EPC Project for the New City in South Nanjing

A signing ceremony was held in Nanjing Zhongshan Hotel on March 9, after China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd. (CSCEC) won the bid for the EPC project for the New City in south Nanjing.
According to information, as the first EPC project of Nanjing Government, the project will cost 36 months, and its construction and installation cost is RMB3.31 billion. The construction work includes water environment management, ecological improvement, green materials application, roads, bridges and utility tunnels.
The south New City close to Nanjing South Railway Station is the center of the maintain area under the key efforts of Nanjing Government and will become an important growth pole of the city. Covering a total land area of 164 square km and with a planned population of about 1.6 million, the New City is designed as modern international downtown area featuring well-established infrastructure, perfect industrial structure, friendly environment for living, business and industries, smartness and environmental protection. It will become a new center of Nanjing, together with Xinjiekou and Hexi New City.
