Chinese Consul General Attends the Corner Stone Laying Ceremony for the Silicon Park in Dubai

A ceremony was held on February 27 to lay the corner stone for the Silicon Park jointly built by China State Construction Engrg. Corp. (Middle East) (L.L.C) (CSCEC Middle East) and China Construction Sixth Engineering Pision Corp., Ltd (CSCEC 6th Bureau) in Dubai. Li Lingbing, Chinese Consul General in Dubai, attended the ceremony, and Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, unveiled the plaque for the park. The Consul General said that, as one of the demonstration projects under joint efforts of China and the UAE on building One Belt One Road, the Silicon Park will play a positive role in deepening reciprocal bilateral cooperation between the two sides. He hoped that the CSCEC can make good use of its craftsmanship in projects like Silicon Park, improve its core competitiveness and brand image, and build better reputation and international influence for Chinese enterprises. Covering a land area of 150,000 square meters, the Silicon Park is a world-leading hi-tech incubation park and will provide the best investment environment to hi-tech companies in the world.
Once completed, it will become the first smart city project of Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority.
