VP of CSCEC Visits Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago and the US

Zheng Xuexuan, Vice President of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd (CSCEC) paid a short work visit to the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago and the US from July 19-30, 2016.
During his stay in Bahamas, the Vice President, along with leading officials of the Export-Import Bank of China, met respectively with Perry Gladstone Christie, the Bahamian Prime Minister, and Huang Qinguo, the Chinese Ambassador in Bahamas, with whom, views and ideas were exchanged on the progress of relevant projects. Vice President Zheng also inspected CSCEC’s projects under construction.
In Trinidad and Tobago, Vice President Zheng called on Fitzgerald Hinds, the Minister of Public Works & Transport, and talked with him about CSCEC’s intended participation in infrastructure construction projects in the host country. During his on-site inspection of a project, Vice President Zheng was briefed by the project team about the project progress and by the Latin America Region about their work. He then put forward his requirements for market development in Latin America.
He also stopped by China Construction America, Inc. (CCA) and CCA Plaza Construction when he visited the US. The Vice President acknowledged the achievement of the CCA and expressed his hope that the company will seize market opportunities and make full use of the excellent management team of Plaza Construction as a native advantage, so as to further expand and develop its business in the American market. In addition, Vice President Zheng met with Pat Burk, the President and CEO of HSBC North America Holdings Inc., and discussed with him about the cooperation prospect and opportunities between the two sides.
Qin Yuxiu, Deputy General Counsel and head of the Legal Affairs Department of CSCEC, and major executives of CSCEC Overseas Operations accompanied the Vice President in aforementioned activities. (from CCA)
